Great Staff and Location
Stayed for New Year's Eve at this hotel and it exceeded expectations. The staff were amazing, always ready to help with a smile. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of town and close to all the attractions. The breakfasts were delicious and the room was very comfortable. Plus, free parking nearby was a bonus.
That the room was a bit small, especially the bathroom. It was a bit cramped and made getting ready a challenge.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in several ways. the value for money was excellent, with reasonable prices for the accommodation. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, from the well-maintained rooms to the warm and welcoming service provided by the staff. The location, close to the lake and shops, made it convenient for exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District. Furthermore, the hotel had some furry friends on site, adding a lovely touch to the overall experience.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory, leaving no room for improvement.

The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices for both the rooms and the drinks at the bar. The friendly staff pay attention to every detail, providing comfortable rooms with a 4poster bed and a bottle of house red. We also enjoyed the traditional English pub atmosphere and the convenient location to explore the beautiful Lake District.
All was satisfactory during our stay.

Great location, close to everything. The free parking was a plus. The room was comfortable, and there was a TV and tea-making facilities.
There was a lot of noise coming from the street at night, and the bathroom was a bit small.
